The Sikur Phone

Sikur launched the Sikur Smartphone in February 2018. The company is focused on only creating the software which will be deployed to hardware manufacturers for installation to smartphones.

Sikur built the new smartphone during the Sony Open Devices Unit Program and the engineers ported it on top of the Sony architecture. The company’s Chief Operations Officer Mr. Alexandre Vasconcelos, announced that Sikur was approaching other manufacturers to port the software to their devices.

Sikur believes that although it’s a young company, it entrusts entities such as businesspeople and governments to the phone’s security features. The underlying fact is that controlling both its software and the hardware is of great benefit to the security features. In a case where the smartphone is majorly purposed for cryptocurrency storage or any highly profiled sensitive data, its security features are of increased importance.

Sikur is selling the new Sicur Smartphone at $650 for the XA2 and $850 for the XZ1.
