Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has unveiled Xbox One X, calling it “the world’s most powerful console.” So, the Xbox Project Scorpio is now Xbox One X.

The Xbox One X is designed to offer a “premier console performance,” the company said, noting that the console will feature a 1TB hard drive, a matching Xbox Wireless Controller, HDMI cable, power supply, a 1-month free Xbox Game Pass subscription and a 14-day free Xbox Live Gold membership.

It will be available in November for $500.

Microsoft dubbed the Xbox One X as the smallest Xbox ever. The console includes a 4K UHD Blu-ray player, built-in power supply, three USB 3.0 ports (one on the front and two on the back), and infrared blaster.

The Xbox One X is 40% more power than any other console, featuring “the 6-teraflop Scorpio engine.” The tech giant claims that gaming experience will be much better on the console as it has been designed “around today’s cutting-edge engines and the blockbuster titles you already love.”

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) said that the Xbox One X is designed for true 4K gaming, which combines 2160p frame buffers, high dynamic range and wide color gamut into a pristine visual package. The 4K-experience includes recording game clips in 4K at 60 frames per second and 4K screenshots.

Microsoft plans to offer enhanced versions of existing Xbox One games – including Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft, Resident Evil 7, Final Fantasy 15, and Rocket League – to take advantage of the Xbox One X’s additional performance. Additionally, the company said that some of this year’s biggest blockbuster, including Forza Motorsport 7, will be launched in true 4K.

Moreover, as expected, all existing Xbox One games – including Xbox Play Anywhere titles, Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games and accessories – will be compatible with the Xbox One X. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) claims that those “games will load faster and look and play better on the Xbox One X.”
