On January 23, 2017, Liberty Media Corporation (the Company)
issued a press release announcing the completion of its
acquisition of Formula 1, among other things. The press release
is being filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated by
reference into this Item 7.01.
Greg Maffei, President and Chief Executive Officer of the
Company, will be appearing on the CNBC television program Squawk
Box from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. ET on January 24, 2017 to discuss
the completion of the Companys acquisition of Formula 1 in more
detail. During his appearance, Mr. Maffei may make observations
regarding the Companys financial performance and outlook and the
impact of current economic trends.
This Item 7.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K is being
furnished to the Securities and Exchange Commission under Item
7.01 of Form 8-K in satisfaction of the public disclosure
