As of March1, 2019, Daniel O’Day was appointed by the Gilead Sciences,Inc. Board of Directors (“Board”) as a member of the Board and as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. As previously announced, on the same date, John C. Martin, Ph.D. resigned from the Board.
