The stock of Garmin Ltd (NASDAQ:GRMN) closed at $54.03 gaining 0.65% in yesterday’s trading session. This company has made an announcement revealing its plan to collaborate with Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS) in a bid to come up with a new line of kids’ wearables .

Garmin’s spokesperson said that they took great pride in the new way they had developed to get the various kids to stay active as well as track their activity. The new line of fitness trackers will help the provider boost its revenue streams. All of them featured a wide range of kid-friendly characters from Walt Disney-owned brands like Marvel Comics and Star Wars.

Striking the partnership with Disney is being seen as a progressive move. Basically, Garmin’s Vivofit Jr. 2 fitness trackers pull along many at times bearing designs featuring characters like BB-8, which happens to be the amazing android from star wars.

The objective is to help all the interested parents ensure that their children remain physically active at all times. Kids can be able to play with the Vivofit Jr. Models in pools because of their waterproof nature.

The new Vivofit Jr. 2 models come in a new color screen and will serve as the perfect replacement for the black-and-white screen on the older versions.
