Actua Corp (NASDAQ:ACTA) recently added another feather to its cap through its subsidiary VelocityEHS. The Industrial Safety and Hygiene News (ISHN) awarded two top honors to VelocityEHS as part of its 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards.

Actua Corp’s VelocityEHS secured its first ISHN award in the EHS Management Software category. Readers of ISHN showed their satisfaction with VelocityEHS’s software platform that boasts a suite of simplified environment, health, safety (EHS) and sustainability solutions. With that, readers didn’t have any problems voting VelocityEHS as the best provider of EHS Management software.

The second award for Actua’s VelocityEHS came in the MSDS Management category. The award specifically recognized VelocityEHS’s solutions that include MSDSonline brand HQ.

VelocityEHS added a new chemical labeling function in MSDS online through collaboration with Brady brand label printers.
