Item 8.01.Other Events.

On November 30, 2016 the Board of Directors of West End Indiana
Bancshares, Inc. (the Company) declared a cash dividend on the
Companys common stock of $0.06 per share. The dividend will be
payable to stockholders of record as of December 12, 2016 and is
expected to be paid on or about December 23, 2016.

A copy of the press release dated November 30, 2016 giving
details associated with the dividend is attached as Exhibit 99 to
this report.
