On January23, 2018, UMB Financial Corporation (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K (the “Original Form 8-K”) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) to, among other things, report on the Company’s financial results for the quarter and year ended December31, 2017, and to announce a quarterly dividend. Subsequent to the filing, the Company discovered that a table in the press release attached to the Original Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 contained an incorrectly formatted table. This Amendment No.1 to the Original Form 8-K (this “Form 8-K”) is being filed to furnish a revised press release with a correctly formatted table.
