On March 2, 2017, Trinseo S.A. (the “Company”) published on its investor relations website certain data on historical styrene monomer margin over raw materials along with historical prices of styrene and key raw material inputs of styrene, including providing the current month’s European styrene monomer price. Trinseo believes that providing the most recently available styrene margin information will provide investors with additional insight into the business performance of its Feedstocks reporting segment. This data will be updated periodically and made available on the Company’s investor relations website, http://investor.trinseo.com/investor-relations/overview/default.aspx, under the Styrene Margin Data tab. Trinseo S.A. is a materials company. The Company operates under two divisions: Performance Materials and Basic Plastics & Feedstocks. The Performance Materials division’s segments include Synthetic Rubber, Latex and Performance Plastics. The Latex segment produces styrene-butadiene latex (SB latex) for coated paper and packaging board, carpet and artificial turf backings, as well as a number of performance latex applications.
