The Ontario Cannabis Retail Corp., which does business as the Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS), has signed separate cannabis supply agreements with Indiva Ltd. (TSX: NDVA) (US: NDVAF), Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. (TSX: TGOD) (US: TGODF), and Village Farms International (TSX: VFF) (OTC: VFFIF).
Indiva has signed a supply agreement with the Ontario Cannabis Store. The company will supply two strains of pre-rolls, manufactured and shipped with care from the company’s London, Ontario facility, to the Ontario Cannabis Store.
Under a separate cannabis supply agreement, Green Organic Dutchman will provide its cannabis products to provincial liquor and cannabis boards across Canada through its partner Velvet Management to the Ontario Cannabis Store.
“Ontario has the largest population in Canada and is a critical component to TGOD’s national recreational rollout,” Green Organic Dutchman Director and CEO Brian Athaide said in a statement. “This represents the first of many provincial supply agreements planned for our premium organic product as our domestic facilities near completion and production increases throughout 2019.”
In addition, Village Farms International said that its cannabis joint venture Pure Sunfarms Corp. has entered into a supply agreement with the Ontario Cannabis Store to supply its cannabis products for the non-medical market in the province of Ontario.
With the supply agreement in place, Pure Sunfarms can begin shipments to the Ontario Cannabis Store upon receipt of its packaging and processing licenses from Health Canada, which it continues to expect in the near term.
The Ontario Cannabis Store is the only legal retailer of recreational cannabis in Canada’s most-populous province. The government-owned retailer will supply cannabis products to licensed private retail stores across the province, set to open in April of this year. The first 25 retailers eligible to apply for cannabis licenses were announced last month.
