Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) will soon start selling its electric cars in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The company is building its first UAE store in Dubai. The store is located on Shiekh Zayed Road, which is one of the busiest roads in Dubai, according to a report from Electrek.
Tesla’s official launch in the UAE is coinciding with Elon Musk attending the World Government Summit in Dubai, according to the publication.
At the Dubai location, the company is deploying charging infrastructure, both Superchargers and Destination chargers. The store is near the Burj Khalifa metro station. The same building was previously occupied by a Porsche dealership, the report said.
The Tesla Dubai store is expected to start taking official orders for the Model S and X for deliveries later this year.
