(b) Steven L. Hunter resigned his position as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer – Gordmans on July 29, 2019, effective immediately. Stage Stores, Inc. (“our” or “registrant”) entered into a separation agreement with Mr. Hunter on August 2, 2019, to which Mr. Hunter will receive severance in an amount equal to thirty (30) days of his base salary. Mr. Hunter\’s responsibilities have been absorbed by our existing management team.

The Company’s in-store Send program allows customers to have merchandise shipped directly to their homes if the preferred size or color is not available in their local store. The Company’s private label portfolio brands are developed and sourced through agreements with third-party vendors.
