On December 19, 2016, Spectra Energy Corp (the “Company”) awarded a $750,000 bonus to Guy G. Buckley, the Company’s Chief Development Officer, to reward his extraordinary efforts in respect of the proposed merger with Enbridge Inc. (“Enbridge”). As previously disclosed, stockholders of the Company overwhelmingly voted in favor of the proposed merger on December 15, 2016.
