(b) On January 17, 2017, Sushil Dhiman, President and Chief
Executive Officer of SMTC Corporation (the Company), submitted
his resignation as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a
member of the Companys board of directors, effective February 17,
2017. The Companys board of directors is currently in the process
of conducting a search for a new Chief Executive Officer.
The press release announcing Mr. Dhimans resignation and the
search for a new Chief Executive Officer is included as Exhibit
99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated
herein by reference.
