ShoreTel Inc (NASDAQ:SHOR) has received six awards that recognize it for its commitment to innovation as well as recognizing its senior leadership.

ShoreTel managed to scoop the Silver Stevie award for being the most innovative technology firm. The Stevie award recognizes the positive contributions and achievements made by global professionals and organizations all over the world. They are awarded based on seven different programs that are also unique. ShoreTel deals in the provision of communications services that simplify interactions and has about 2,500 employees.

“We’re very proud of the leadership and innovation demonstrated by the ShoreTel team.It is exciting to not only be recognized for our solutions and corporate growth but to also see our people recognized for the valuable contributions they make to the communications industry,” stated Mark Roberts, the chief marketing officer at ShoreTel.

ShoreTel excited about recognition

According to Roberts, ShoreTel was happy with the fact that its efforts had been recognized. ShoreTel Teamwork was also acknowledged as the best midmarket solution and its chief marketing officer received the award for the best Vendor Spotlight at the Midsize Enterprise Summit (MES). ShoreTel Teamwork is a real-time collaboration application that lets users boost their productivity at any time, thanks to features such as file sharing, task management, and pervasive chat.The MES is an event for IT executives though it also provides significant opportunities for top executives in the IT industry to gain access to top vendors, peers, and seasoned analysts.

The Best Vendor Spotlight award which was received by Roberts recognizes the best performing technology solutions providers based on the perception of IT decision makers during the event. ShoreTel also celebrated another win after the Silicon Valley Business Journal gave the Women of Influence 2017 award to Eugenia Corrales, the Senior Vice President of Solutions Group. She was awarded for her strong record in delivering innovative products and services. Heather Tenuto, the VP for channels was also recognized by CRN for her impressive expertise and leadership at ShoreTel. CRN annually acknowledges influential female leaders for their expertise and vision.

ShoreTel stock closed the latest trading session at $5.85, after witnessing an increase of $0.05 or 0.86% per share.
