DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT
On March 13, 2017, Sempra Energy’s (the “Company”) Board of Directors (the “Board”) appointed Maria Contreras-Sweet, age 61, to serve on the Board. Ms. Contreras-Sweet was also named to serve on the Audit Committee. This appointment and committee assignment are effective on March 14, 2017.
Ms. Contreras-Sweet will participate in the Company’s standard compensation program for non-employee directors, as described in the Company’s proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 25, 2016.
