On November 30, 2017, PPL Corporation ("PPL" or the "Company") issued a press release announcing the publication of its assessment ("Climate Assessment") of the long-term impacts on PPL's portfolio, of public policies and technological advances that are consistent with limiting global warming to no more than two degrees Celsius over pre-industrial levels. The Climate Assessment was prepared in response to the request of PPL's shareowners, approved at the Company's May 17, 2017 Annual Meeting of Shareowners. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1.
