Item 8.01Other Events.
On May 8, 2017, PetMed Express, Inc. issued a press release
announcing its March 31, 2017 quarter and year-end financial
results. Additionally, PetMed Express, Inc. announced that its
Board of Directors declared an increased quarterly dividend of
$0.20 per share on its common stock. The dividend will be payable
on May 26, 2017, to shareholders of record at the close of
business on May 19, 2017. The Company intends to continue to pay
regular quarterly dividends; however the declaration and payment
of future dividends is discretionary and will be subject to a
determination by the Board of Directors each quarter following
its review of the Companys financial performance. A copy of this
press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is
incorporated herein by reference.
