On April 19, 2017, M. Walter D’Alessio and Rosemarie B. Greco informed Joseph F. Coradino, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (the “Company”) that they had each decided not to stand for reelection as Trustees at the upcoming Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on June 1, 2017. Both Mr. D’Alessio and Ms. Greco indicated that their respective decisions not to stand for reelection were for personal reasons, and not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
