Effective April 5, 2019, Stuart Morris-Hipkins, President – Global Solutions of Owens & Minor, Inc. (the “Company”), left the Company to pursue other opportunities.
Item 5.02 Regulation FD Disclosure
The information set forth in Item 5.02 above is incorporated herein by reference. The Company’s Chief Executive Officer & President, Edward A. Pesicka, will assume Mr. Morris-Hipkins’ responsibilities with respect to the Company’s U.S. Distribution business. Additionally, Jeffrey Jochims, who joined the Company as Executive Vice President, Strategy & Solutions effective April 8, 2019 and reports directly to Mr. Pesicka, will assume Mr. Morris-Hipkins’ responsibilities with respect to the Company’s Provider Solutions, Manufacturer Solutions, Movianto and Fusion 5 businesses.
On April 8, 2019, the Company issued a press release announcing the appointment of Mr. Jochims as Executive Vice President, Strategy & Solutions. A copy of this press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference into this Item 5.02.
