Item 5.02. Departure of Principal Officers

On October 22, 2019, Stacy W. Hilgendorf notified Nuverra Environmental Solutions, Inc. (the “Company”) of his intent to resign his position as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective November 7, 2019, to assume a senior financial position with another company in an unrelated industry. Mr. Hilgendorf will continue to serve as the Company’s principal financial officer and principal accounting officer through the effective date of his resignation.
