On April3, 2018, Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell withdrew his name from nomination for re-election to the Board of Directors (the "Board") at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”) as described in NRG Energy, Inc.’s (the "Company”) Supplement to the Proxy Statement filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on April 5, 2018. Following the Annual Meeting of the Company on April 26, 2018, Pastor Caldwell’s term as director of the Company expired effective April 26, 2018, and the Board has reduced the size of the Board from twelve (12) to eleven (11) members.
