Regulation FD Disclosure.

Brian Bird, vice president and chief financial officer, and Travis Meyer, directorcorporate finance and investor relations officer, of NorthWestern Corporation d/b/a NorthWestern Energy (NYSE:NWE) (the “Company”) will be conducting one-on-one meetings with analysts, investors, and other third parties at the Barclays CEO Energy-Power Conference in New York City on September 4 and 5, 2018. During these meetings, they will be providing certain information concerning the Company in a slide presentation and will be reaffirming that the Company's 2018 earnings guidance is in the range of $3.35 to $3.50 per diluted share.

A copy of the slide presentation is being furnished to Regulation FD as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
