This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends certain information included in a Current Report on Form 8-K filed by NiSource Inc. (“NiSource”) on July 14, 2017, regarding the appointment of Eric L. Butler as a director on the Board of Directors of NiSource effective July 10, 2017. The Board of Directors did not appoint Mr. Butler to serve on any of its committees at the time of his appointment. On September 6, 2017, the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Butler to serve on the Environmental, Safety and Sustainability Committee and the Finance Committee.
