On July6, 2018, NETGEAR, Inc. (the “Company,” or “NETGEAR”) issued a press release announcing that Arlo Technologies, Inc. (“Arlo”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, publicly filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) relating to the previously announced proposed initial public offering by Arlo of its common stock (the “IPO”).

The full text of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, and is being furnished under this Item 7.01.

A registration statement relating to the IPO of securities of Arlo has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective.
