On November17, 2017, Dirk Van de Put informed Mattel, Inc. (the “Company”) that, in light of his new role and increased responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer of Mondelēz International, Inc., he would resign from the Company’s Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr.Van de Put had served as a director since 2011 and was a member of the Audit Committee and Governance and Social Responsibility Committee.
Mr.Van de Put’s decision to resign as a director was not due to any disagreements with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
