Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

Press Release

On May 30, 2017, Lonestar Resources US Inc. (the Company) issued
a press release (the Press Release) announcing that it entered
into two definitive purchase and sale agreements dated May 26,
2017 (together, the Purchase and Sale Agreements) with
independent third parties to which the Company agreed to acquire
certain oil and gas assets in the Eagle Ford Shale. The Press
Release also announced that, as part of the financing for the
Purchase and Sale Agreements, the Company also entered into a
securities purchase agreement dated May 26, 2017 with Chambers
Energy Capital III, LP, an affiliate of Chambers Energy Capital
of Houston, Texas, to which the Company will issue newly created
preferred stock. A copy of the Press Release is furnished as
Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated into this Item 7.01.
