Liberty Health, Fire & Flower Make Management Changes

Toronto-based cannabis companies Liberty Health Sciences (CSE: LHS) (OTCQX: LHSIF) and Fire & Flower Holdings Corp. (TSXV: FAF) (OTC: FFLWFreported management changes at the end of last week.

Liberty Health CEO and CFO Leaving

Liberty Health Sciences said that George Scorsis resigned as the company’s CEO and as the board member.

Temporarily, Scorsis will be replaced by Victor Mancebo, the Company’s current president, the company said in a statement.

Victor will serve as the company’s interim CEO and will be appointed to fill the vacancy on the board until a replacement is sourced for the role.

Further, the company announced the resignation of Rene Gulliver as CFO, effective April 14, 2019. Gulliver will be replaced by Scott Meyers, currently the company’s director of finance, as interim CFO.

The cannabis company said that it has started a search for permanent CEO and CFO. The high-profile roles will be filled by U.S. individuals, according to the company.

Fire & Flower Hires Merchandise Boss

Fire & Flower Holdings Corp., a cannabis retailer, named Rob Cherry as vice president, general merchandise manager and head merchant.

Rob will lead the company’s purchasing and merchandising departments, the company said in a statement.

“Rob’s strong experience merchandising with large retailers” will be beneficial to the company which plans to expand “to many new communities in 2019,” Fire & Flower CEO Trevor Fencott said in the statement.
