BTC Company To Integrate Latest Technologies In Its Ecosystem
Located in the capital city of Ljubljana, coincidentally, the original name of the complex with 500 retail stores spread across 475,000 square meters is also Bitcoin City. According to BTC Company, it wants to convert the complex into the first of its kind in the world providing business partners, visitors, and consumers with a crypto-supporting ecosystem.
The company wants to develop and integrate technologies that support the state-of-the-art approaches including blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), ML (Machine Learning), AR (Augmented Reality), and of course digital currency within the ecosystem.
Eligma To Officially Start ‘Elipay’ After Testing
In related news, Eligma, a Fintech startup, has already created Elipay, a cryptocurrency transaction system for the BTC City. The testing for Elipay is scheduled for mid-June this year at the BTC City. However, most retailers in the giant commercial shopping complex have already started using the point-of-sale system. These include Al Capone, Atlantis Water Park, Bijous modni’dodatki, Babadu, Big Bank, Vodno mesto San Martino, Minicity, Sneakers, and Kibuba.
The BTC City premises to have special features dedicated to digital assets including one-way cryptocurrency ATMs, Blockchain Think Tank, and Slovenia’s biggest crypto mining rig. The government of the country seems to be in support of this development. Recently, the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Dr. Miro Cerar visited the BTC City to encourage the idea of this novel trade. Incidentally, Dr. Cerar was in the BTC City to inaugurate the international conference on the digitization of society and blockchain technology. The conference was organized by the Adriatic Council. During his visit, he bought a cup of coffee at the Restavracija City restaurant in the complex using Elipay payment facility.
