On March 19, 2019, Kansas City Southern’s Executive Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer Michael W. Upchurch gave a presentation at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2019 Global Industrials Conference. Mr. Upchurch’s presentation included certain operational improvements the Company is pursuing, including a potential reduction in the Company’s locomotive fleet and elimination of crew starts in various routes. The presentation given by Mr. Upchurch at this conference is included in this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
