Infosys Ltd ADR (NYSE:INFY), ATP Announce Launch Of New PlayerZone For Digital Players

Infosys Ltd ADR (NYSE:INFY) and ATP, the organization that governs men’s professional tennis have announced the launch of a new app for PlayerZone as well as its website.

The new app is an extranet portal that will allow ATP players to support their coaches and teams among other things. This will allow more engagement between players in the ecosystem as well as access to information through a wide range of aspects especially those revolving life on tour. PlayerZone was created using the latest and best technology so that it can be convenient and as intuitive as possible. The application even features a biometric login system.

PlayerZone also offers information regarding withdrawals and tournament entries, rules, and regulations as well as automated updates on match scheduling and results. It also provides information on visa requirements, transportation, and hotel information among other things. All these are designed to simplify the life of players on tour. The app will also provide data on taxes and price money to facilitate compliance and ease of tracking earnings.

“The ATP World Tour is a truly global business, taking place in over 30 countries across six continents, and with players from over 100 countries,” stated ATP Executive Chairman & President, Chris Kermode.

Kermode further added the current market requires connectivity and immediacy for daily and successful operations. He pointed out that his organization was pleased to launch the new PlayerZone in partnership with Infosys. The executive also noted that the new platform will boost the organization’s communication with players as well as their support teams. It will also help them to go through the demanding nature of life on Tour while ensuring maximum efficiency.

ATP believes that the launch of the new app will set a new benchmark for giving players the best extranet in sport and all the other advantages that come with PlayerZone. Rajesh Krishnamurthy, the president of Infosys stated that innovation has been at the center of the partnership between his firm and ATP.

Infosys stock closed the latest trading session on Thursday at $15.93 after a 1.79 percent gain compared to the value of the stock during the previous close.
