Independent Bank Corporation (the Company) appointed Christina
Keller to the Board of Directors of the Company and its
wholly-owned subsidiary, Independent Bank. Since August 2016, Ms.
Keller has served as the President of the Cascade Business Team
(CBT) of Cascade Engineering (CE). CBT consists of four of CEs
nine business units. CE is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is
a global manufacturing company supporting a diversity of
strategic markets, including transportation, environmental
services, office seating, material handling, polymer compounding,
and radio frequency identification technology. CE employs
approximately 1,600 people. Christina joined CE in 2009 after
working in consulting in New York City and Washington, DC.
Directors, the Board increased the size of the Board from nine
members to ten members. Ms. Keller has not yet been appointed to
any committee of the Board of Directors.
