At our Annual Meeting of stockholders held on December2, 2017 (see Item 5.07 below), our stockholders approved the adoption of the Highpower International, Inc. 2017 Omnibus Incentive Plan (the "2017 Plan"), which had previously been approved by our board of directors. A copy of the 2017 Plan is attached to this filing as Exhibit 10.1. The 2017 Plan authorizes the grant of awards covering up to 2,250,000 shares of our common stock. No further grants will be made under the Highpower International, Inc. 2008 Omnibus Incentive Plan.

Presented below are the voting results for the proposals (described in detail in our Definitive Proxy Statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 20, 2017, the relevant portions of which are incorporated herein by reference) submitted to our stockholders at our Annual Meeting of Stockholders held on December 2, 2017 ("Annual Meeting").
At the Annual Meeting, stockholders representing 11,601,290 shares or 75.0% of the 15,476,000 shares of common stockoutstanding on the record date of October 4, 2017, were present in person or by proxy, constituting a quorum for the purposes of theAnnual Meeting.

(NASDAQ:HPJ) Highpower International, Inc., through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of nickel metal hydride rechargeable batteries (Ni-MH) and lithium batteries for both consumer and industrial applications. The Company operates through three segments: Lithium Batteries, Ni-MH Batteries and New Material. It has commenced over two production lines of Lithium-ion (Li-ion) and Lithium polymer rechargeable batteries for consumer applications, such as consumer electronic products, mobile devices and wireless communication products.
