High Tide (CSE: HITI) (OTCQB: HITIF) has changed its stock symbol on the OTCQB Market.
Starting April 29, the Alberta-based retail-focused cannabis company is trading on the OTCQB Market with the ticker “HITIF”.
The company’s common shares continue to be listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the ticker symbol “HITI” and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the stock symbol “2LY”.
The OTCQB market is considered an established public market by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for the purpose of determining the public market price when registering securities for resale with the SEC in equity line financings. Companies on the OTCQB verify via an annual OTCQB Certification that their company information is current, including information about its reporting status, profile, information about management and the board, major shareholders, law firms, transfer agents and more.
High Tide Building Cannabis Retail Chain
High Tide is expanding its retail cannabis operations in multiple provinces across Canada.
In Alberta, the company operates 11 existing Canna Cabana retail stores and plans to build 25 more locations – that are under various stages of development and construction.
In Ontario, the company opened two Canna Cabana-branded retail cannabis locations in Hamilton and Sudbury last month.
In Saskatchewan, the company is progressing through the necessary steps to complete two pending retail cannabis acquisitions in the short term.
Finally, across Alberta, British Columbia and Nova Scotia, the company has 13 Smoker’s Corner accessories shops, of which five are corporately owned and eight are franchises.
