On November14, 2016, the Board of Directors of HCA Holdings, Inc.
(the Company) appointed Samuel N. Hazen as President and Chief
Operating Officer of the Company, effective immediately.
Mr.Hazen has served as the Companys Chief Operating Officer since
January 2015. Prior to that time, he served as President
Operations of the Company from February 2011 to January 2015.
Mr.Hazen served as President Western Group from July 2001 to
February 2011 and as Chief Financial Officer Western Group of the
Company from August 1995 to July 2001. Mr.Hazen served as Chief
Financial Officer North Texas Division of the Company from
February 1994 to July 1995. Prior to that time, Mr.Hazen served
in various hospital and regional Chief Financial Officer
positions with Humana Inc. and Galen Health Care, Inc.

Mr.Hazen is contained in the Companys Annual Report on Form 10-K
for the fiscal year ended December31, 2015 filed with the
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on February26, 2016 and
the Companys Proxy Statement for the Annual Meeting of
Stockholders held on April28, 2016 filed with the SEC on March17,
2016 and is incorporated herein by reference. Mr.Hazens
compensation as President and Chief Operating Officer has not yet
been determined.
