Green Thumb Industries Inc. (OTCMKTS:GTBIF) has announced that the City of Pasadena has granted Integral Associates a retail dispensary and delivery license which makes it one of the six awardees of new licenses in the city.

Integral Associates placed first in Pasadena license application

Integral Associates received the licenses the same day GTI concluded its acquisition including the Essence retail stores plus the Cannabiotix and Desert Grown Farms facilities in Nevada. Integral Associates was ranked first out of around 122 retail applications.

Speaking on the about the license Armen Yemenidjian the President of GTI and founder of Integral Associates said that the company was honored to receive the retail license from the City of Pasadena and they are looking forward to becoming an active member involved in the local community. He added that the company’s focus has always been to provide exceptional customer service and they were glad to have on board the Essence experience for new customers in Pasadena.

Steve Mermell the Manager of Pasadena City stated that they acknowledge and congratulate the applicants who were placed in the top six for having completed a comprehensive process. The manager said that he was pleased with the level of expertise and experiences that was demonstrated by the top six applicants and that they expect a positive relationship with permitted dispensaries and the local community.

Expanding retail footprint

The license that Pasadena issued will permit the company to continue with its expansion plans as well as grow business operations in Southern California. The company recently awarded a retail outlet as well as a consumption lounge in West Hollywood. In December eight new licenses were awarded in Nevada three in northern Nevada and Five in the Las Vegas area. Currently, the company has around 23 stores open throughout the country and they have a retail footprint of 89.

Ben Kovler, GTI founder and CEO stated that Integral Associates’ first place win in the City of Pasadena strengthens the shareholder value that the company brings to GTI. He also indicated that they are pleased to expand their retail footprint throughout the country which signifies strong momentum.
