Google Assistant coming to all Android devices

Google announced that Google Assistant is coming to more Android phones.

During the Mobile World Congress, the search engine giant said that it is bringing Assistant to non-Pixel and non-Google Android phones, 9to5 Google reported.

Google Assistant is an intelligent virtual assistant that can engage in two-way conversations. Previously, it was only running on the Google Pixel, Android Wear 2.0 watches, and the Home.

It will be available on devices running Android Marshmallow or higher.

The virtual assistant replaces Google Now on Tap available on phones since 2015. Google Now allows users to quickly identify different items that were being displayed on their phones.

Though Assistant can identify items on your screen, it cannot detect music that’s playing. But with Assistant, users gain access to Google’s AI bot that can answer almost any of questions as well as control different aspects of a handset.
