The annual meeting of the stockholders of General Moly,Inc. (the “Company”) was held on June21, 2018. The matters that were voted upon at the meeting, and the number of votes cast for and against, as well as the number of abstentions and broker non-votes as to each such matter are set forth below. Stockholders voted in accordance with the Board of Directors’ recommendations on each matter and voted to (1)elect two nominees for director; (2)approve, by advisory vote, the Company’s executive compensation; and (3)ratify the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December31, 2018.

The Company also announced that it will be participating at the John Tumazos Very Independent Research Metals Conference in Holmdel, New Jersey on June27 and 28, 2018. On June25, 2018, the Company issued a press release announcing the results of the annual meeting of stockholders and the Company’s participation at the conference. General Moly, Inc. is engaged in the business of the exploration, development and mining of properties containing molybdenum. The Company, through its subsidiary, Eureka Moly, LLC, holds interest in the Mt. Hope Project, a molybdenum property, located in Eureka County, Nevada. The Mt. Hope Project contains molybdenum reserves totaling approximately 1.4 billion pounds of which 1.2 billion pounds are estimated to be recoverable. It also owns a molybdenum and copper project, the Liberty Project, located in Nye County, Nevada.
