Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On December21, 2017, Gener8 Maritime,Inc., a Marshall Islands corporation (“Gener8” or the “Company”) and Euronav NV, a Belgian corporation (“Euronav”) issued a joint press release announcing, among other things the execution of an Agreement and Plan of Merger to which Euronav MI Inc., a Marshall Islands corporation and a direct wholly owned subsidiary of Euronav will merge with and into Gener8, with Gener8 surviving (the “Surviving Corporation”) as a direct wholly owned subsidiary of Euronav. A copy of the joint press release is attached hereto as Exhibit99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.

Gener8 Maritime, Inc., formerly General Maritime Corporation, is a provider of international seaborne crude oil transportation services.
