On November 30, 2016, FutureFuel Corp. (NYSE: FF) (“FutureFuel”) issued a press release announcing that it had declared a special cash dividend of U.S. $2.29 per share on its common stock, with a record date of December 16, 2016 and a payment date of January 13, 2017.

Additionally, FutureFuel announced its 2017 quarterly dividend program, declaring normal quarterly dividends of U.S. $0.06 per share, with record dates of March 1, 2017, June 1, 2017, September 1, 2017 and December 1, 2017, and payment dates of March 15, 2017, June 15, 2017, September 15, 2017, and December 15, 2017, respectively.

FutureFuel Corp. is engaged in the chemical and biofuels business. The FutureFuel Chemical Company, a subsidiary of Company, manufactures chemical products and bio-based products comprising biofuels and bio-based specialty chemical products. The Company operates in two segments: chemicals and biofuels. The chemicals segment manufactures chemical products that are sold to third-party customers. The biofuels segment primarily produces and sells biodiesel to its customers.
