On December5, 2017, D. Dixon Boardman informed the board of directors (the “Board”) of Farmland Partners Inc. (the “Company”) of his resignation as a member of the Board, effective immediately. Mr.Boardman’s resignation was due to his desire to devote more time to his other business interests and was not the result of any disagreements with the Company.

In connection with Mr.Boardman’s resignation, the Board intends to reduce the size of the Board from seven directors to six directors.
