The Face ID Technology By Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) To Be Incorporated In The iPad Pro

The stock of Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) closed at $155.90 gaining 0.04% in yesterday’s trading session. Ming-Chi Kuo, the KGI Securities analyst has in numerous instances given his predictions on most of Apple’s past moves. Almost all of them have turned out to be true. The incorporation of Apple’s Face ID system into the iPad Pro will be taking place anytime soon according to the analyst.

The company has disclosed that the iPad Pro 3 will be arriving in mid-2018.It will be the iPad Pro 3 that will bear the update if it turns out that the prediction this time around is correct. In June, Apple unveiled its 10.5-inch iPad Pro. The event took place at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference and a lot of people were fascinated by the improved display and slimmer bezels.

For quite some time, the fingerprint sensor has been the one used to unlock the phone. This time around, the Face ID will be replacing this sensor and there have been speculations on how the changes will be received by users around the globe.

There are high chances that the Face ID might turn out successful. If it happens as such, it then implies that Apple might be considering adding it to more iPhones than just the X in 2018.

Kuo opined, “We predict iOS devices to be equipped with TrueDepth Camera in 2018F will include iPhone X and 2018 new iPhone and iPad models. Because of this, we believe more developers will pay attention to TrueDepth Camera/facial recognition related applications.”

Apple has also been considering promoting several facial recognition related applications. The Android camp might be reacting to that by committing more resources in the facial recognition and hardware development applications.

Over the years, Apple has indicated consistency when it comes to bringing in new features to the higher versions of the iPad. One of these features is the Smart Connector charging technology which operates on the principle of attaching a charging code to the device. There have been other changes as well, most of them revolving around the iPad’s design.
