On November 22, 2016, ESSA Bancorp, Inc. (the Company) announced
that the Company would make a payment of a cash dividend of $0.09
per share of common stock. This dividend will be paid to
stockholders of record as of December 16, 2016, payable on
December 30, 2016. A copy of the press release announcing the
dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
