Regulation FD Disclosure

On August 17, 2017, EMC Insurance Group Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.21 per share of common stock payable September 5, 2017 to shareholders of record as of August 29, 2017.

The Company also announced that Mr. Mark E. Reese, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Steven T. Walsh, Director of Investor Relations, will be presenting at the Intellisight Conference on August 22, 2017 at approximately 11:55 a.m. Eastern time. The Intellisight Conference will be held at the University of St. Thomas in downtown Minneapolis, MN.
