On February 22, 2017, Southeastern Asset Management, Inc. filed a Schedule 13D with the Securities and Exchange Commission on behalf of itself and certain related beneficial owners of common stock of Deltic Timber Corporation (the “Company”). The Company issued a press release in response thereto, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
