On December 6, 2017, Douglas MacLellan resigned as an independent director of ChinaNet Online Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) and as Chairman of the Company’s Audit Committee and member of the Company’s Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. MacLellan’s resignation did not result from any disagreement with the Company.
Chang Qui has been appointed as the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Company to replace Mr. MacLellan.
