On March 27, 2019, Miles Berger and C. Gerald Goldsmith, each an independent trustee of the board of trustees of Chatham Lodging Trust (the “Company”), both notified the board that he wished to retire from the board at the end of his current term and not seek reelection at the Company’s annual meeting later this year. Messrs. Berger and Goldsmith each advised the board that his decision was not the result of any disagreement with the Company.

Chatham Lodging Trust is a real estate investment trust (REIT) organized to invest primarily in premium-branded upscale extended-stay and select-service hotels.
