Other Events.

On June28, 2017, CenterPoint Energy, Inc. (CenterPoint) and its
wholly-owned subsidiary CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp.
(CERC), in connection with amendments to increase the aggregate
commitments under CenterPoints and CERCs credit agreements from
$1.6billion to $1.7billion and $600million to $900million,
respectively, increased the size of their commercial paper
programs to permit the issuance of commercial paper notes in an
aggregate principal amount not to exceed $1.7billion and
$900million, respectively, at any time outstanding. Prior to this
increase, the commercial paper programs permitted CenterPoint and
CERC to issue commercial paper notes in an aggregate principal
amount not to exceed $1.6billion and $600million, respectively,
at any time outstanding.

The commercial paper notes have not been and will not be
registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and may
not be offered or sold absent registration or an applicable
exemption from such registration requirements. The information
contained in this Current Report on Form 8-K shall not constitute

under CenterPoints or CERCs commercial paper programs.
