On April 19, 2017, California Resources Corporation (the
Company), issued a press release announcing a joint venture with
Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Inc. (MIRA) to invest up
to $300 million in certain of the Companys oil and gas properties
in California. A copy of the press release is furnished as
Exhibit 99.1 to this report on Form 8-K, and is incorporated
herein by reference.

The Company produces approximately 160 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (MBoe/d). It has net proved reserves of over 640 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMBoe).
