Item 5.02

On September 5, 2019, Brian L. Melton informed Blueknight Energy Partners G.P., L.P. (the “General Partner”) of Blueknight Energy Partners, L.P. (the “Partnership”), of his intent to resign as Chief Commercial Officer of the General Partner effective September 20, 2019, and accept a position with another company. Mr. Melton’s resignation is not due to any disagreements with the Partnership or the General Partner.
Upon Mr. Melton’s departure, Mark A. Hurley, Chief Executive Officer, will continue to oversee the commercial function and play an active role in the commercial operations and growth of the business.
